WHO is the Adult Program open to?

  • The Adult Program is open to adults of any age and experience level
  • This program can accommodate challenged athletes with prior arrangement
  • No experience necessary

WHAT does the Adult Program offer?

  • Make new friends
  • Learn about proper shoes and running equipment
  • Work on form and breathing, how to properly stretch, why we get cramps (“Stitch”) and how to get rid of them
  • Become informed on nutrition, heart rate, and running safety
  • Set personal goals and schedules
  • Learn the mental aspect of running (ex. How to pace yourself), how to attack those tedious hills (up and down), how to compete, and how to deal with various obstacles that my occur while running
  • Learn how to mix up your workout and keeping it fun and rewarding. We will give you suggestions on what workouts you can do at home during the week and weekends.
  • If interested, we can teach you how to do various field events.
  • End of program party
  • If interested, you will have the opportunity to register for a 5K road race entry of your choice for free.

WHEN does the Adult Program run?

  • 6 week program
  • 2 Sessions per week – Monday and Wednesday (4:45- 6:15pm)
